Event Volunteer Info

 

An event the size of the Bass Bash requires quite a few "hands on deck" in order to pull it together and the overall success of this day is wholly dependent on a large number of volunteers to assist with setup, tear down and everything in between.

The day begins early with helping to direct traffic/parking for the rigs, moving picnic tables, pitching canopies, setting up tables, building the fire, and moving in large quantities of food and gift items. There is quite a bit of work and something for everyone to do.

Those in attendance are treated to a wonderful meal and our kitchen coordinator requires a full team of helpers for unpacking, preparation, setup, serving, tear down, and cleanup.

 

 

Extra hands all day long are greatly appreciated, but especially at the end of the event when EVERYONE is exhausted from a long day and a great time. Everything must be torn down, packed up and loaded into vehicles, and the park returned to perfect condition as is our practice.

Sounds like a lot of work? You betcha! But, once you have experienced a Bass Bash event and spent some time with our honored guests, it doesn't seem like work at all and you will walk away a better person with some great memories.
